Bryony House: Supported living for elderly people
Standing in attractive gardens in a pleasant green and leafy suburb on Bournville Village Trust, one of the most desirable and sought-after residential areas of Birmingham, Bryony House is a registered charity providing a safe, secure environment and high standards of accommodation and support for our elderly residents.
Bryony House was established in 1955, with one very clear objective; to create a home within a home for every resident. We now offer residential and respite care.
The highest standards of living accommodation, caring dedicated staff and all the support that is needed are the major priorities of the Board of Trustees.
We are registered for 35 residents who enjoy the homely and relaxed atmosphere within spacious and comfortable surroundings and prospective new residents or respite visitors will be invited to spend time with us prior to their stay. Details of our rooms can be found here, many of which overlook our garden a particularly attractive feature of which we’re very proud.
Friendly, helpful and qualified staff are on duty round the clock to assist residents with their personal needs. Privacy and independence are respected and residents are free to come and go as they please. Day-to-day care is supervised by the Care Manager and senior staff. Should medical or nursing care be required visits by local doctors or district nurses will be requested.
Residents also benefit from regular visits by a hairdresser and chiropodist, as well as opportunities for regular social events and a variety of leisure activities provided by the staff and The Friends of Bryony. More details may be found at Friends and Activities.
