Friends of Bryony

The Friends also raise funds to provide gifts and cards for Easter, Christmas and Birthdays for the residents. 

Monies are raised by holding a raffle at Christmas and a raffle and tombola at the barbecue in the summer. 

The Friends also support the Activities coordinator with her activities e.g. making cards, bingo, making hats for Ascot, Easter etc and bringing in a therapy dog.

Friends also accompany residents on excursions e.g. concerts. 

The Friends are eager to encourage new folk to join us - please contact Bryony if you are interested. 

Activities

• Monthly Music Time where a variety of musicians entertain residents and encourage audience participation

• Handicraft sessions. Painting, card making, Christmas decorations

• Themed party afternoons and tea-time social events. reminiscences, musical bingo

• Weekly chair based keep fit including Balloon Folly (Thursdays at 2:00pm)

• Fortnightly Service of Worship

• Play your cards right, Bingo, Dominos

• The sale of toiletries

• Hairdresser (Tuesdays at 9:15am)

• Themed suppers (fish & chips),

• Aromatherapy and massage

• Concerts

Residents have also enjoyed excursions and visits by friends and relatives to Bryony House are always encouraged.
