Meet The Team

Meet the experienced team that makes Bryony House the wonderful place it is. Our staff will always be here for you to make sure your needs are taken care of. Team members are adequately trained to provide assisted living services for residents in need. Give us a call and stop by the center to meet us in person and see us in action.

Lorraine Whittaker

Registered Manager

Lorraine is a mother of one, a son who is now grown up. Lorraine started her career right here at Bryony House 30 years ago and has worked her way through her qualifications gaining NVQ level 2,3,4 and 5 and Leadership and management. Lorraine also has her medication certificate. 
Lorraine has been a Carer, Senior Carer, Assistant Manager and acting Deputy manager until working her up to become the full time Care Home Manager in 2018. In January 2021 Lorraine became the registered Manager.

Tracy Goddard

Assistant Manager 

Tracy has been married to Dean for five years and they have been together for seventeen years. Tracy has one daughter Taylor, two stepsons, one step daughter and a daughter in law.

Tracy began her care career twenty eight years ago at sixteen years old and achieved much in that time. Tracy has her NVQ level 2, 3 and 4 along with medication training and has recently successfully achieved her train the trainer certification and NVQ level 5. 

Tracy joined Bryony in January 2019 as a floor senior and has since become a valuable and respected member of the management team. In November 2020, she was appointed Head Senior becoming office based ensuring the smooth running of shifts, controls and monitors the medications, Dol's, CQC notifications and supervising and leading the senior and care staff. On January 1st 2023 after an successful interview Tracy was appointed as the Assistant Manager. 

Tracy has played a huge role in introducing and the smooth transition of the new Access clinical and medication systems.

The care, welfare and wellbeing of her residents is very important to Tracy.

Lee Roberts

Company Secretary and HR/Admin Manager

As the Company Secretary and Management Administrator of Bryony House, Lee covers many aspects of the business from Care, accounts, ordering, admin, IT, advertising and bringing in new residents. Lee joined Bryony in 2019 and has introduced many new systems to Bryony, including the new signing in ipad, the staff on duty monitor as you walk in and others.

Bill Blakeman

Office Senior

William Blakeman has been at Bryony for over 5 years now and was hired as a floor senior care assistant and was promoted to Office Senior in January 2023. Bill is happily married to Chloe and has grown up children, you can find him in the Main Care Office on the ground floor.

Julie Tame and the Kitchen Team

Kitchen Manager

Julie has been with Bryony for over 15 years, happy married to Spencer and has one son Shane. You can find Julie and her team in the kitchen on the ground floor.

Senior Care Assistants

Job Title

Kerry Osborne, Lesley Hodgetts are Day and Armela Jiménez and Jean Walsh are Nights make up the Senior Care Assistants. They can be found on the floor supervising the shifts accordingly in their blue scrubs

Care Assistants

Care Assistant

Care Assistants deliver the day to day care to all service users, they will be found throughout the home in their pine green scrubs

Domestic Team

Cleaners and Laundry

The team do a marvellous job in keeping Bryony House clean and smelling amazing. You can find them throughout the home in their burgundy scrubs.

Wayne Cooper

Maintenance 

Wayne has recently took over ass Bryony's maintenance man, Wayne also tends to the garden and is a valuable member of the team.

Taylor Luton

Activities Co-ordinator

As Bryony House activities co-ordinator Linda keeps all the service users entertained with games, puzzles and entertainers.
